  SMILE is a gift platform that transforms each gift into a meaningful donation on behalf of someone. With SMILE, each gift becomes a SMILE Gift, which is a donation made in honor of someone. The best part: you can also let your gift choose its favorite cause by giving him a SMILE Voucher.

  A SMILE Gift is far from a random donation to a random charity. We carefully curated impactful israeli charities, each chosen for its ability to create real change. And for each of them, we identified a specific need that will be the SMILE Gift (for example a treat for shabbat for a Holocaust survivor or a Talit for the Bar Mizvah of a child at risk).

• Can companies get tax deductions for SMILE Gifts?

  Yes, companies can benefit from tax deductions when giving SMILE Gifts. SMILE is a registered Israeli non-profit organization with the “SEIF 46”, which allows for tax-deductible donations. We provide the necessary documentation to ensure companies can receive the applicable tax benefits.

• How does SMILE select the charities on its platform?

  SMILE employs a rigorous selection process to choose the charities on our platform. We consider various criteria, including the charity’s impact, transparency, financial accountability, and alignment with our mission. We also prioritise charities with founders who are readily accessible and committed to collaboration. Our goal is to restore trust between donors and associations. Charities do not pay to be listed on our platform. 

• Can we customize the SMILE Gifts for our company?

  Absolutely! We understand the importance of personalization. We offer options to customize the SMILE Gifts with your company’s branding, logo, and personalized messages. We work closely with you to ensure the gifts reflect your company’s values and messaging.

• How can SMILE Gifts contribute to our corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives?

The SMILE Gifts support carefully selected charities, contributing to social and environmental causes. • Can our company allow employees to choose the charities that will benefit from the donation?

  Yes, we understand that selecting a charity is a personal and meaningful decision. To accommodate this, we offer two options. First, your company can provide SMILE vouchers to employees, allowing them to choose the charities they prefer from our carefully selected list. This ensures a personalised and meaningful giving experience. Second, your company can organise a vote among employees to collectively decide which charity will receive the donation from the company. We believe in empowering individuals and fostering a sense of ownership in philanthropic choices.
