Therapy for PTSD Soldiers

Therapy for PTSD Soldiers

The “Our Story” program supports soldiers suffering from PTSD through long-term therapeutic care and peer-based support. When the fighting ends, the struggle is just beginning. Many soldiers return home and deal with trauma, anxiety, loneliness, and difficulty returning to their daily lives. The “Our Story” community provides them with a unique environment that combines professional treatment, peer groups, practical tools, and ongoing community support. Together, we help them rebuild resilience, belonging, and hope – so that no soldier is left alone on the path to recovery..

The charity behind this project

Since the outbreak of the “Iron Swords” War, there has been a need to provide immediate therapeutic support to soldiers who have experienced trauma due to intense combat events, physical and mental injuries, and emotional difficulties following the war. Soldiers and their families have sought urgent help to receive treatment. The project team has developed a program based on body-mind therapy, group dialogue, and a supportive community that provides a response and framework for these needs.

The goal of the project is to “leave no soldier alone”

* Ongoing support for fighters even after returning home and over time, while creating a strong and connected group that supports its members even beyond regular operating hours.

* Building a support network – patients who will over time become part of the treatment team and leaders of new groups.

* Expanding the program – creating additional groups both on the existing farm and on other farms across the country.

Why we love this project

  • They never leave anyone to face it alone

  • They turn treatment into community

  • They help rebuild lives
