Bar Mitzvah Celebrations for At-Risk Youth

This project organizes group Bar Mitzvah celebrations for at-risk boys across Israel who would otherwise not be able to mark this important milestone. Each child receives everything needed for the occasion, tefillin, a prayer shawl, and a meaningful ceremony at the Western Wall, followed by a festive celebration. For these children, this is more than a ceremony, it is a moment of pride, belonging, and recognition, just like any other child their age.

Twice a year, the organization brings together boys from across the country to celebrate their Bar Mitzvah in a meaningful and joyful way.

By providing both the religious items and a full celebration, Elimelech’s Blessing ensures that each child can experience this important life milestone with dignity and joy.
