Support for Bereaved Mothers

The IMA program supports mothers facing loss and deep trauma. Through personalized complementary therapies, provided in one of 26 centers across Israel, the program offers tailored care adapted to each mother’s needs. It helps them process pain, rebuild emotional stability, and gradually face daily life again. For these mothers, this support is a space to breathe, a moment of relief within an ongoing and difficult reality.

The charity behind this project

The IMA program has been hosted by SMILE since 2023 and is led by Stephanie Daniel. Originally launched in 2022 on a small scale, the program expanded significantly following the events of October 7, in response to the growing needs of bereaved mothers across Israel. Today, IMA provides structured and professional therapeutic support, combining individual care and group programs, delivered by trained specialists in a safe and supportive environment. SMILE ensures the program’s operational framework, including beneficiary selection, financial transparency, and overall program management.
