Making Dreams Come True for children with serious sickness
The Clownbulance Project was established in 2015 by Smadar Harpak, a medical clown from the Dream Doctors organization. It fulfills the dreams of children with serious illnesses by taking them on a special day trip in a uniquely designed “clown ambulance.” Accompanied by a medical clown, each child chooses a personal wish, and the team brings it to life, creating a joyful escape from hospital routines and treatments. For these children and their families, this experience is more than a day out, it brings hope, emotional relief, and renewed strength.

The charity behind this project
The Clownbulance project was created by Dream Doctors, an organization specializing in medical clowning in hospitals across Israel.
With over 100 professional medical clowns active nationwide, Dream Doctors integrates therapeutic clowning into medical environments to support patients emotionally and psychologically.
Through the Clownbulance initiative, the organization extends this approach beyond hospital walls, creating deeply personal, trust-based experiences that help children express emotions, reduce fear, and reconnect with joy.
Illness should never take away a child’s right to dream.
Well, so how do you sum up such a fun day?!?! It was sooooo perfect! An experience of a lifetime! A huge thank you to you all from the bottom of my heart🫶You are something special each and every one of you and we have no words to thank you for that and also to everyone around you who pitched in and helped with the organization. Opal Adele and Ram were over the moon with happiness🤩. We are grateful for the experience and the giving, you allowed us to get away from the routine a bit🙏 Keep up the important work and never stop laughing and making fun and being silly😂
