Therapy Sessions with Service Dogs for PTSD Soldiers
This project provides specially trained service dogs to soldiers coping with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). These dogs are trained to recognize signs of distress, reduce anxiety, provide emotional security, and assist during panic attacks, flashbacks, or difficult daily situations. For many soldiers, the bond with a service dog becomes life-changing, helping them regain independence, rebuild confidence, and reconnect with everyday life.

The charity behind the project
The Service Dog Training Center is a nonprofit organization dedicated to training and providing service dogs to people facing physical and emotional challenges.
Founded in 2017, the organization has become a leading center in Israel for service dog training, with a particular expertise in supporting veterans coping with PTSD.
Through a long and specialized training process, dogs learn to recognize signs of distress, respond to emotional crises, and provide ongoing support to their handlers. The organization also works to promote and expand access to service dogs throughout Israel.
