SNAX is an initiative born from Vanessa’s passion for healthy living and her desire to give back to the community. As the founder of this project, Vanessa realized the importance of boosting the wellbeing of soldiers during the war. She transformed her expertise into a meaningful initiative, preparing healthy and nutritious snack bags for soldiers on the front lines.
What makes SNAX so special is not only the food itself but the heartfelt messages and drawings from school children included in each bag. These personal touches create a bond between the soldiers and their community. One heartwarming story involves children who added their phone numbers to the notes, leading to grateful soldiers calling to thank them.
The format of SNAX is designed for convenience: individual bags that fit perfectly into the pockets of soldiers’ uniforms, making them easy to carry during long missions away from their base.
Each week, Vanessa and her dedicated team of volunteers prepare between 500 to 1,000 SNAX bags, each packed with care and love. At just $1 (4 shekels) per bag, every contribution goes a long way to brighten the day of a soldier.
The response from soldiers has been overwhelmingly positive. The nutritious treats and warm messages boost their morale and serve as a reminder that they are supported and appreciated by the community.
With SNAX, a small gesture makes a big impact—because sometimes, a simple snack can mean the world to someone far from home.
