Description
The Sivan Weil Foundation was established in memory of Sivan Weil, a brave Franco-Israeli soldier who fell in combat at just 20 years old. Sivan dreamed of going on a ski trip after completing his military service. To honor his legacy, his family created the foundation to support injured soldiers through extreme sports activities that help accelerate their physical and emotional recovery.
In 2025, the foundation is partnering with the EREZ association, an expert in ski rehabilitation programs for injured soldiers, to send 15 wounded soldiers from the Egoz Unit—Sivan’s unit—on a life-changing ski trip. This initiative not only aids in their rehabilitation but also symbolizes the resilience and strength that defined Sivan.
Each year, the Sivan Weil Foundation will collaborate with partners and tailor its activities to meet the evolving needs of injured soldiers, ensuring meaningful and impactful rehabilitation programs.
