Art Therapy at the Tel Aviv Museum of Art
Non-profit organization
Description
The Tel Aviv Museum of Art — Israel’s foremost art museum since its founding in 1932 — is a leading institution dedicated to the collection, preservation, and exhibition of modern and contemporary art from Israel and around the world. As a dynamic cultural hub in the heart of Tel Aviv, the museum provides a vibrant, multicultural experience that attracts both local and international audiences.
In the wake of the traumatic events of October 7, many individuals and communities in Israel have been left deeply shaken, with a diminished sense of safety and emotional stability.
In response, the Tel Aviv Museum of Art has launched specialized art therapy programs to support personal and collective resilience.
Located near Hostage Square, the museum is committed to serving as a safe and meaningful space for processing trauma, fostering connection, and promoting recovery through creativity.
