According to LATET’s 2024 Alternative Poverty Report, 71% of parents receiving assistance said they cannot afford even the most basic school supplies for their children. Every year, as the school year approaches, we launch a special project to provide as many school kits as possible to children in need.

Equal opportunity in education starts with the basics. Education is one of the most powerful keys to reducing social and economic gaps – and your contribution will help provide a brand-new backpack, essential school supplies, and nutritious food for children who deserve to reach their full potential in the classroom.

This year, many of the children we help are from families displaced from their homes and economically impacted by the war. Together, we can ensure they go back to school ready to learn, grow, and thrive – just like everyone else.
