About the Organization: SafeHeart, a non-profit organization, was established out of this tragic event by therapists from the trance community and leaders of safe spaces at parties and festivals. Our goal is to support the survivors of the music festival massacre on that dark Saturday through emergency mental health services. We aim to provide each survivor professional psychological care from certified professionals, in an empathetic and non-judgmental manner. Our treatments and support encompass all aspects of healing: individual therapy (1:1), group therapy, retreats, body-mind therapies, and family support of the survivors. All our activities are backed by extensive and significant research conducted by Professor Roy Salomon, one of the organization's founders and the head of the Brain Research Lab at the University of Haifa. This pioneering research delves into the relationships between the extreme traumatic event and altered states of consciousness, how they influenced each other, alongside examining treatment methods and their impact on the survivors. Help us continue to support as many survivors and their families as possible, to assist in their full recovery and the building of a better future for all of us. Help us continue to be there for those who need it.
