LATET

Latet – Israeli Humanitarian Aid is a nonprofit organization committed to reducing poverty and building a more just and better society. Latet provides aid to populations in need on a universal basis, mobilizes civil society toward mutual responsibility and giving, and leads efforts to influence the national agenda. As Israel’s leading food bank and umbrella organization, Latet partners with 210 local NGOs in 135 communities nationwide. It distributes extensive food and essential items both in times of peace and emergency, supporting 100,000 families, children, elderly individuals, and Holocaust survivors on a regular basis, equitably across all sectors of Israeli society. Today, over 2.76 million people, including 1.24 million children, live below the poverty line in Israel. Together, we can help ease their daily struggles, especially in this difficult time marked by war and worsening economic challenges.
