Hagal Sheli is an organization that works to provide a real opportunity for at-risk youth to ride the wave to success by developing a sense of competency and building life skills through surfing. Surfing allows youth to discover their inherent strengths and to face the challenges they’ve endured throughout their lives. "As in the sea - as in life." Youth undergo a multi-stage and multi-year process in which they become trainees and certified surfing instructors. The organization works with youth aged 13-18 from all walks of Israeli society.
